Two Chimneys
near Nainital, Uttarakhand
Two Chimneys is in the village of Gethia, an 8-hour drive north-east from Delhi, which means if you leave early enough you will arrive in time for one of their sumptuous lunch buffets.
Gethia is very well known in the area, so you should be able to ask anyone for directions from Kathgodam onwards. Two Chimneys is on the main road, but a world away from the noise of Nainital. If you should miss the din of the town however, it’s a 30-minute drive away. There are also the famous lakes of Kumaon to visit while you’re out and about.
