The Smetaceks have been welcoming guests into their home for decades; however, their desire to maintain the original character of their home also means that the rooms aren’t furnished to hotel standards.

There are 3 guest rooms – 2 suites, 1 double – and though they might seem a bit basic, that’s only because the family’s understated sensibilities mean their home instead reflects their warm and uncomplicated personalities.

Both suites have annexes that can accomodate 2 extra adults, wheras the double room has a lovely sitting area that can fit an extra bed. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms.

The beds are large and comfy and the overall vibe ensures that you sleep long and deep; just as you would anywhere you feel at home.

Remember: don’t come here expecting a hotel experience and you will be more richly rewarded than you expect.
