Before making a reservation guests are asked to choose one of 4 programs available. Beyond the specifics of these programs there are a variety of daily yoga and meditation sessions included in the price, which guests are free to participate in as they please.
Swa: The most suitable program if you still want a bit of a holiday, and a great beginner’s guide to the world of yoga, naturopathy and Ayurveda. Includes private yoga sessions, consultations with Ayurvedic and naturopathic doctors, incredible Ayurvedic and naturopathy massages and delicious food.
Prana: Focusses on the body through ayurveda, includes detailed daily consulations with ayurvedic doctors, a special diet (if deemed necessary) and specialised treatments; great for rejuvenation and relief from specific ailments such as back pain, arthritis, sinus trouble and so on.
Swastha: The Detox and Cleanse Program, includes a 1-day cleansing and eliminatory diet, a water enema, daily yoga asana sessions, massages and music meditation among other things. Great for weight-loss and countering the effects of stress and age.
Shanti: Built around yoga therapy to refocus the mind, this is a strictly regimented 10-day program that follows an austere vegetarian diet and schedule.
Though the nature of the program determines the balance of activities, there are certain ones open to all.
These include: Group yoga sessions for both wellness and beginner/intermediate levels; group sunrise meditation; group Evening Meditation that includes chanting and chakra visualisation among other things; a special focus Yoga session e.g.: yoga Nidra, pranayama, art Yoga or laughter Yoga; guided art classes with the resident artist in the art studio; guided nature walks, village visits and bird watching trips; boat trips to neighbouring beaches; visits to Gokarna temple and town; Indian classical music and dance programs; cooking lessons in the open kitchen.
