Warm and generous with their knowledge, George will give you tips on where to find the best local food in Leh, while Peter will take you for village walks and bird-watching trips.

The restaurant at Saboo is another winner: it serves a great mix of local and international dishes along with proper coffee. There’s also a bakery on site making homemade cookies and cakes.
