There are 6 bamboo cottages on the dune, and to the side is a brick house with an apartment available on the first floor with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a verandah.
All 6 cottages have an ensuite bathroom and 1 bedroom with a king size bed. The ‘Penthouse Apartment’ has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people.
There’s some nice attention to detail and we loved the little incense candles, low chairs on the small cottage verandahs and the nice cool, concrete floors. The simplicity of the rooms really emphasizes the point of being here, which is to switch off and relax. There is also a practical side, meaning you can walk around barefoot and the rooms are easily cleaned and maintained.
Bathrooms again are tasteful and rustic, though they have no doors – this is clearly a place for familiar couples and the most easy-going of friends! Similarly, be aware that with just bamboo walls your every grunt may be heard from outside!
