I’m very hesitant to leave any kind of review purely out of very selfish reasons. I loved Little Palm Grove and I won’t be staying anywhere else but there when I go back to Goa. It’s a little gem – I loved the attention to detail of our hut: the little candles, Ganesh and Nagchampa incense outside, the room itself was beautifully made up – enough details (the softest sheets, and I love the printed cotton blankets) to make one feel like you’re staying in a place where someone has carefully thought about all the details to make the place but special, but not too much that you feel like they’re imposing their taste on you.
The hut and bathrooms were the perfect size and I loved the open layout and polished floors. Again, little details like the interesting choice of Ayurvedic soap were noticed. (I’m a journalist and editor so can’t help but notice the finer details)
We had a beach-facing hut which was basically just meters from the waves — it felt private enough but utterly special to have that view.
My only wee complaint: I’d love the option to have hot water in the shower.
