Palm Grove Beach Resort (Little Palm Grove)
north Goa
Breakfast is included but there is no formal dining here. However, walk over to their sister property Palm Grove and you can dine practically on the beach; the view from here is a front row seat for the spectacular sunset over the Arabian Sea.
As there are not a huge amount of guests don’t expect a big atmosphere but something more subdued, complimented by the friendly Nepali cooks, staff and the owner buzzing around.
The kitchen serves a combination of Indian, East Asian and continental cuisine, we especially liked the fried rice, all in all a nice change from much of the food offered nearby.

Menu
The menu at Palm Grove is not as extensive as places nearby, but that’s no bad thing as it helps with consistency. There’s a variety of cuisine available and there are some good vegetarian options.
Dining nearby
If you want to eat elsewhere, only head south down the beach, there are no quality places to the north i.e. go left not right.
North Goa is a great place to eat and the star of the show for years has been the excellent French-fusion restaurant La Plage, just 10 mins down the beach (but borrow a torch!). Also now nearby at Leela Cottages is the new incarnation of the aptly named Sublime restaurant.
Next door to Little Palm Grove is Yab Yum which serves great continental breakfasts, light lunches, a smattering of continental dishes and quality Indian food. On the other side of Little Palm Grove is Pagan Café, essentially just a beach hut with chairs and tables on the sand, but a great spot with a wide-ranging menu and some good options for kids.
Further afield check out Café Nu in Mandrem village, Fellini’s in Arambol for good pizza or Frichty on the Mandrem-Arambol road.
