Lutyens Bungalow
New Delhi
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10.30 am in the dining room or in the patio when the weather allows. It’s an old-school spread of Indian and Western “continental” dishes, with eggs cooked to order (poached, fried, scrambled or masala), paranthas, seasonal fruit, juice, porridge, toast, and cornflakes all served with countless cups of tea and coffee.
Tea and filter coffee are also available all day on the patio beside the garden.
Though there is no restaurant as such, lunch and dinner can be served with prior notice.
Alcohol is not served, though you are welcome to bring your own.

Menu
Breakfast is a mix of Western and Indian staples.
Lunch and dinner, when ordered, are predominantly Indian—mostly dals, vegetables, chicken and mutton curry served with salad, roti and rice.
Dining nearby
Khan Market, a 5-minute rickshaw ride or a 20-minute walk, is the nearest proper market and here you’ll find everything from French bakeries to hipster-influenced wine bars to modern takes on the old Irani cafes.
Our picks: L’Opera, for their consistently good coffee, quiches, croissants and unfailingly efficient service; Khan Chacha, for its kebab rolls, served in a bright and modern room; La Bodega, for near-authentic Mexican food and cocktails; and SodaBottleOpenerWala, for its successful reinvention of traditional Parsi food.
