The 6 suites at Birdsong, all named after spices, come in 2 categories: Family Duplex and Super Deluxe.

Interiors are warm and inviting, luxurious without being sterile. Oriental rugs adorn the floor, contemporary artwork hangs from the walls. There is also a small selection of books in the living room.

Family Duplex:

Cardamom, just off the verandah, comes with a large double bed, writing table, armchairs, satellite TV, and a wooden mezzanine level with another double bed framed by a large window looking over the forest.

Caraway, in the main house, also comes with its own loft (with bed and window views), accessed by a spiral staircase (note that this is not safe for very young children, so the Cardamom room is the better choice).

Both the above family suites can comfortably sleep 4 adults and are perfect for families with teenage kids.

Super Deluxe:

Though all the other rooms fall under the same Super Duplex label, they have distinct features, each offering something unique.

Cinammon, in the main house, has an additional bunk bed with a study-table (great for kids), and a private courtyard that leads into a small side garden.

Pepper, slightly apart from the main house, is a good choice for when you want more privacy. Accessed through the front verandah, it’s very spacious featuring an additional seating area with comfortable sofas, lots of artwork and beautiful dark wood furniture.

Both Nutmeg and Clove, at the rear of the property, by the pool and inner garden, are good for guests who want to use the swimming pool frequently. They both have a natural Goan theme with stone floors and red laterite walls; Nutmeg has a small courtyard which leads into a side garden, and Clove features a bay-windowed seating area with a flat-screen TV.
