Menu
The kitchen at Birdsong specialises in Goan and north-Indian food, serving everything from simple dal and vegetables to elaborate seafood and meat preparations. A barbecue is also available.
Dining nearby
There aren’t too many dining options in Moira apart from the local fish-curry-bhaji–pao cafés.
Andron, 5 minutes drive on the road to Aldona, is run by an ex-Navy Man and known for its meaty Goan-Catholic menu, while Bao on the edge of Aldona, beside the Corjuem bridge, does a great fish thali.
The celebrated restaurants of north Goa are concentrated around the coastal villages, taking anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes by car or bike. In Vagator, Thalassa is known for its sunset views and Sakana for its home-style Japanese food. Assagao has two great day-cafés: Villa Blanche and Ruta’s Road House, as well as Gunpowder, which serves fiery coastal food from South India, while Ciao Bella, an authentic Italian trattoria with incredible pizza, can be found in Badem. In the north (Arambol, Asvem and Morjim), Elevar, Sublime, La Plage and Matsya Freestyle Kitchen are well worth a visit.
